If there is one thing I cannot abide it is being late. If I need to be somewhere at a certain time then I like to be there when I say I will be there. To the minute.
I am punctilious about my punctuality.
As an extension to this, if I say I am going to do something at a certain point in time then I like to do it when I say I will do it.
Which brings me to apologise to Storm Media Group of Taipei, who got in touch with me in June (June! It’s now December!) to ask if they could use some of my photos for one of their online publications.
Of course I said yes – I was prompt in that, at least. As usual, I promised to post a link to their site as soon as their article went live.
Storm Media duly published on 1 July 2015. I duly did nothing. I am genuinely sorry about this. Chava (an incredibly nice and polite person from Storm Media) emailed me with a link to his newly published article on the day it was published. And I, who above all else cannot abide being late, have taken six months to return the favour.
Here is that link, six months late:
Regular readers will know that my rate of publishing on this blog has slowed somewhat in 2015. This has been due to the end of the recession. Instead of finding myself up to my neck in sand whilst walking the coast of Britain, I now find myself up to my neck in work. I am not complaining about being busy at work. But life is about balance, and things appear to have gone a bit Koyaanisqatsi this year.
Anyway, the point is I am chuffed to have had my photos published on a media site as far away as Taipei, and I am sorry I have taken so long to publish the link.
